Reggie Washington was a key player in the modern jazz revolution in the 80s and 90s and became famous playing and recording with the likes of Steve Coleman, Branford Marsalis, Roy Hargrove, Chico Hamilton, Oliver Lake, Cassandra Wilson, Don Byron, Jean-Paul Bourelly, Lester Bowie and Ronald Shannon Jackson.
Jazz, funk, R & B, blues … and even experimental music. There is no rhythm that Reggie does not make his own thanks to that natural and contagious energy that he shows off.
For his part, Herve Samb has been fascinated by Afro-American music and traditional Senegalese rhythms since he was 9 years old. Herve began his career with Cheikh Tidiane Seck, David Murray, Pharoah Sanders, Meshell Ndegeocello, Jacques Black-Bart and Lisa Simone.
