An exhibition that presents a careful selection of the traditional clothing collections that the museum conserves arrives at the Costume Museum. You can visit it until June 3.

Organized by Acción Cultural Española, the exhibition is curated by the until recently director of the Palais Galliera, Oliver Saillard, considered one of the most influential curators in the world of fashion culture. The work is focused on the aesthetic and artisan values of traditional Spanish clothing and tries to discover the bases of the structures and decorations that have been transferred to haute couture. All this, through famous designers such as Balenciaga, Galliano or Yves Saint Laurent.

Icons of style also constitutes an updated look at the origins of the museum, as it recovers the collection with which the present-day Museum of Costume began to form.
