Madrid hosts the first edition of a popular race that will unite literature and sports in the heart of the capital on June 10. The objective is to try to unite the values of both disciplines in a festive day that will combine sneakers and books.
The route will be 5 k, although there will also be children’s races, in a completely urban circuit and adapted for everyone. Both the start and finish will be in the Plaza de Colón and will cross some of the most beautiful areas of the capital, such as Paseo de Recoletos, Puerta de Alcalá or Plaza de Cibeles.
This sports event will test all those people who are fans of sports and reading with the ultimate goal of committing themselves to a charitable cause: all the money raised will be used to buy books in bookstores in the region to reactivate consumption and promote these businesses.
