The Flanders season continues in Madrid with the # FlenMad, a festival that concentrates an explosion of emotions and sensations, a unique opportunity to get to know the cultural essence of the flamenco creators and that will take place for the first time on the stages of Madrid.
The #FlenMad opens in Madrid through the Teatros del Canal and the Slaughterhouses that will host for six months the shows of eight companies from Flanders, recognized as international referents of dance and theater.
The sixteen shows that can be seen, are a representation of the cultural commitment of Flanders, which has managed to mark the trend of the performing arts. #FlenMad wants to offer the passion and creative impulse of a unique cultural heritage in the world. Although this series of shows have started a few months ago, you still have time to enjoy some of them before they end:
-Peping Tom directed by Gabriela Carrizo presents: Moeder. Days 16 and 17 of March in Teatros del Canal, Red Room at 20.30 h.
-Royal Ballet of Flanders directed by Sidi Larbi Cherkaoui and Crystal Pite present three choreographies: Firebird / Faun / Ten Duets on a Theme of Rescue. May 19 at 8:30 p.m. and May 20 at 7:30 pm at Teatros del Canal, Red Room.
