It has been four years since the Conde Duque Environment Association has been organizing the Symphonos festival where various cultural entities of the same neighborhood are coordinated and offer the public a rich artistic program focused on a specific theme.

The concept in which this year focuses is the festival will rotate is called ‘Back and forth’ highlighting the miscegenation and syncretism that for centuries have fueled the cultural manifestations of Spain and Latin America. From the point of view of the diversity of this tradition that has been built among all, there will be a broad program of free activities that will address these transformations from different points of view.

The cultural center Conde Duque will host on April 20 Maureen Choi Quartet with a concert where you can listen to their mix of jazz, flamenco, folk and Latin song.

There will also be time for a series of specialized conferences where influences from both sides of the Atlantic will be exchanged with the presence of Faustino Núñez who will give a talk-recital focused on the Latin American roots of flamenco.
